Performing in a quartet set up at the Hilton Hotel- Launch of ” Loterie Nationale”

Dear friends, Jazz fans and Jazz people….

We had a good time performing at the Hilton Hotel yesterday night for  the launch of  “Loterie Nationale” .We are pleased to introduce  Nel Buctowar – a   new  alto and  soprano saxophone player in town. .Nel studied and graduated in Malaysia . He majored in  saxophone and contemporary music. Yesterday night, we were delighted to have him with us on stage for the first time.We  also had Mirella Desveaux and Marie Luce Faron as vocalists.

As you may have noticed, the Dean Nookadu Jazz Trio is more active than ever. So we are keeping the same conceptual idea -the Jazz trio formula- even if we may be performing regularly in a quartet  with two singers- as yesterday’s ensemble set up.The two lady singers and Nel’s incredible sense of melody contribute to give  a special touch to the music arrangements.

We would like to thank Mr Gerard Michel who provided us with the ideal sound that a stage musician would have  ever dreamt of..
