Jazz Nights at Hideaway Restaurant – Vaneron Garden Centre

 The Dean Nookadu Jazz Trio by Five is the Jazz Quintet performing at Hideaway restaurant ,Vaneron Garden Centre .

The ensemble is incredibly swing-powered with a special groove made in Mauritius. We revisit most of the Jazz standards repertoire with new arrangements  but also play original compositions .

 On Fridays , We perform in a quartet set up with Nel Bucktowar- Tenor Saxophone, Denis Serret-Bass, Gerard Ravat-Drums and Dean Nookadu Piano. The group is then called: The Dean Nookadu Jazz Trio by Four

 

Under the marquise, you will enjoy typical Louisiane food or sipping your best drink while listening to the best live  Jazz on the island.

This last semester, we had tenor saxophone player Ludovic Matombé and vocalist Caroline Auckburalee as guests. Guitarist Patrick Desveaux and Saxophone player Nel Bucktowar who were formally  guests are currently full- fledge members of The Dean Nookadu Jazz Trio by Five.

You can also have a drink at the bar while listening to us. Remember this: Jazz by four on Fridays and Jazz by Five on Saturdays.

 

 

 

  Vaneron by Night is like a kind of  Jazz laboratory where all styles of  music are explored, mixed and created spontaneously in the Jazz idiom by real musicians right in front of you.
