PORGY EK BESS : A thank you note

Hi every one ….

…..and specially to the dedicated team who participated in this grandiose music adventure.

We  ( Ashish and myself ) have worked intensely together with you  for more than 3 months setting up this mauritian version of  Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess”  and now after our  last performance in Grand Gaube,  I wish to express my heart-felt thanks to  all of you.

You  have really worked very hard to achieve this and I am quite pleased with your performance.

I wish to mention the excellent work and  performance of choreographer and dancer Arnaud Allijean (Arno FarOut Allijean ). one of  the  best young dancers of his generation….( please follow him. This is the guy who will change the whole concept on  the art of contemporary dance in Mauritius )

I also wish to thank Caudan Communaute for the technical  and logistics  means . A beautiful dream becoming true for any performer

This structure was mounted in the  three fishermen villages of Case Noyale, Mahebourg and Grand Gaube.

Thank you guys  for the great groove . You  are among the best musicians  I have worked with. I have enjoyed each single moment sharing  the music with you. This was  big guys. really big.

 I have a special thank you note for  the ” savoir-faire ” of  Ashley from Ichos Production who provided us with the best sound that a musician would have  dreamt of.  Surely people,   please follow Ichos Production as from now……. as these guys have the best sound in town.

So a big thank you again to every one who has helped to make this happen.We had a wonderful moment performing with you and for you
